Christmas gifts, songs and words of encouragement brought Smiles Africa together with children and their teachers in Ntankah.

On 18 December 2021, Smiles Africa visited Good Memory Bilingual Nursery and Primary School in Ntankah, Bamenda, to share Christmas gifts and spend time with the children. Teachers and pupils welcomed the team as the celebration began.
The children received items including toys, books, clothing, snacks and stationery. An opening prayer and words of welcome brought everyone together before the volunteers introduced themselves.
One by one, the children shared what they hoped to become. Their answers included doctors, engineers, teachers, musicians and a president. The team encouraged them in their education and in showing love and respect to the people around them.
Singing, dancing and the sharing of gifts gave each class a place in the celebration. The headmistress offered her appreciation, and photographs captured the time spent together.
Thank you to the volunteers, teachers and supporters who made this visit possible. Through gifts and companionship, they helped create a Christmas moment in which children’s dreams and voices were warmly welcomed.
