Smiles Africa and Cyndibless Foundation shared school supplies and encouragement with 35 children preparing for a new school year.
A new school year carries the promise of new friendships, new discoveries and room to grow. On 10 September 2023, Smiles Africa joined Cyndibless Foundation at the University of Buea’s health centre to help 35 children prepare for that beginning.
The children received school bags, books, pens, pencils and erasers for the 2023–2024 academic year. The gathering welcomed children from different backgrounds, bringing practical support and encouragement into one shared space.
At the heart of the visit was a simple commitment: to help children feel included as they returned to school. The supplies were a tangible part of that care, offered alongside time with the team and words of encouragement.
This partnership brought people together around the children’s opportunity to learn. We thank Cyndibless Foundation, the volunteers and everyone whose support made the gathering possible.
Every book and school bag was part of a larger gesture of welcome—a way to stand beside children as they stepped into a new chapter.
