SMILES AFRICA PARTNERED WITH METUMAH’S FOUNDATION, CEFPREPAS (vocational training center in livestock fish farming and agriculture in SOA) TO VISIT ORPHELINAT FOUNDATION ESSOS, YAOUNDE

The main purpose was a workshop idea to train the children on how to be creative, by making items that they can feed on and also sell as a petit trade in order to earn a living.
Zita Tibeme – Founder Smiles Africa
Things trained on were making hibiscus drink, chin-chin, wigs, corn-rows/braiding, peanuts, haircuts and talks on animal husbandry and farming. It was basically a vocational training session with no certificates awarded. There were talks on corporal hygiene by 4 volunteers, a BBC mini-health campaign by a Doctor and 12 student doctors. It was a great day and we were glad to had partnered for this project although we had no SMILES AFRICA VOLUNTEER on site but our partnered organizations handled it all perfect.
Cheers to all Humanitarians out there.
